Chilly and showery Good morning, Another unsettled day across all parts of the country today. Low pressure is in control once again, the wind coming from a cool northwesterly direction. There will be showers or longer spells of rain developing across England and Wales. The showers will become heavy at times and could merge into longer spells of rain. Indications are that an area of heavier showers or rain affects southeastern England, with a further area across northeast England. A few sunny spells elsewhere between the showers. A band of heavy showers is expected to spread south through Ireland too. Have a great day. Simon me at simon.keeling@weatheronline.co.uk
