Jacksonville police identify shooting victim found in church parking lot

Jacksonville police released the identity of a man found on Saturday lying on the ground at a Westside church.

Officers were sent to Shindler Drive Baptist Church due to a shooting victim and found Kerry Lamb, 26, unresponsive in the parking lot. Lamb was pronounced dead at the scene, the Sheriff?s Office said.

Investigators ask anyone with information in the case to call the Sheriff?s Office at (904) 630-0500 or email JSOCrimeTips@jaxsheriff.org. To remain anonymous and receive a possible reward, police ask that individuals call Crime Stoppers at (866) 845-TIPS (8477).
